1. Scope of Apprenticeship
The Employer agrees to provide the Apprentice with training in the trade of carpentry, under the supervision of the Employer or a designated mentor, by the standards and practices of the industry. The apprenticeship will involve both on-the-job training and learning theoretical aspects of carpentry.
2. Duration of the Apprenticeship
The duration of the apprenticeship shall be 3 years, commencing on 1st February 2050 and ending on 31st January 2053, unless terminated earlier by this Contract.
3. Duties of the Apprentice
The Apprentice agrees to:

Attend work regularly and punctually, following the Employer’s working hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Actively engage in learning and complete tasks assigned by the Employer or mentor.

Follow all safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.

Maintain good conduct and professionalism in the workplace.

Complete any theoretical or educational components of the apprenticeship as required.
4. Duties of the Employer
The Employer agrees to:

Provide the Apprentice with the proper tools, equipment, and materials required for the training.

Offer regular supervision, guidance, and mentorship to the Apprentice.

Provide the Apprentice with a safe working environment.

Support the Apprentice in gaining practical experience and, where necessary, formal education related to the craft.
5. Stipend/Compensation
The Employer agrees to pay the Apprentice a stipend of $1,500 per month, to be paid on the 1st of every month. Any changes to this amount shall be discussed and agreed upon by both parties in writing.
Additionally, the Employer will provide the Apprentice with a travel allowance of $200 per month for transportation expenses.
6. Working Hours
The Apprentice will work 40 hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required on occasion, for which the Employer will compensate the Apprentice by local labor laws.
7. Termination of Contract
This Contract may be terminated early under the following circumstances:

By mutual agreement between the Employer and the Apprentice.

If either party breaches the terms of this Contract.

If the Apprentice fails to perform their duties to the satisfaction of the Employer after reasonable notice and an opportunity to correct the performance.

In case of gross misconduct or violation of workplace rules by either party.
In the event of early termination, the Employer will provide written notice of 30 days, unless the termination is for reasons of misconduct.
8. Completion of Apprenticeship
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the Apprentice will receive a Certificate of Apprenticeship Completion and may be offered permanent employment, subject to mutual agreement between the Employer and the Apprentice.
9. Confidentiality
The Apprentice agrees to maintain confidentiality about any proprietary or business-sensitive information obtained during the apprenticeship.
10. Governing Law
This Contract shall be governed by the laws of the United States of America. Any disputes arising from this Contract shall be resolved through mediation in Springfield County, USA.
11. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Employer and the Apprentice, and any modifications or additions must be in writing and signed by both parties.
