GRAPHIC DESIGNER CONTRACT
Parties
This [GRAPHIC DESIGNER CONTRACT] (“Contract”), dated [July 24, 2021], is made by and between [June C. Bertram] of [Flow Experts Co.] located at [4606 Byrd Lane, Burlington, Vermont 05405] (“Employer”) and [Sarah T. Arredondo] (“Employee”).
In consideration of the mutual promises and covenants in this Contract, of which the receipt and sufficiency are hereby acknowledged, the Parties further agree to the terms as follows:
Service Provided
The Employer hires the Employee as a graphic designer. The Employee shall create original output for the company in a timely and professional manner. Furthermore, the Employee shall cooperate with the Employer in editing, evaluating, and assessing the work before its completion and launching.
Terms and Conditions
DUTIES.
The Employee shall create professional advertising materials for the company in accordance with the current marketing and advertising strategies of the company. The Employee understands and accepts that they shall be obliged to do additional tasks that are within the experience, training, and occupational capacities of the Employee.
RESTRICTIONS.
The Employee shall not be allowed to do private work or side business relating to graphic design without written consent from the Employer.
CONFIDENTIALITY.
The Employee acknowledges that they may receive or have access to the company’s confidential and proprietary information, such as marketing strategies, products and services, pending projects, and proposals. The Employee shall not disclose any and all of the Employer’s confidential information while and even after this Contract is in effect.
RETURN OF MATERIALS.
Upon the termination of this Contract, the Employee shall return all data, files, and materials owned by the Employer, including all copies. The Employee agrees not to keep any copies of said data, files, and materials.
COMPENSATION.
The Employer agrees to pay [four thousand dollars ($4,000.00)] to the Employee for the services rendered to the company. The Employer shall pay the Employee every [15th] of the month through wire transfer.
OVERTIME.
In cases of overtime work, the Employer shall pay the Employee’s services twenty dollars ($20.00) per hour on top of the compensation.
PROBATION PERIOD.
The first [three (3) months] of the Employee’s employment shall be considered as the probationary period. At any time during this period, the Employer can terminate the Employee without cause and without prior notice.
PERFORMANCE REVIEWS.
The Employee shall be subjected to a quarterly performance review every year. This appraisal shall be inspected and fully discussed with the Employee.
TERMINATION.
The Employee may terminate this Contract by submitting a written termination notice to the Employer [thirty (30) days] before the intended termination date. The Employer may also terminate this Contract if the Employee breaches this Contract or is unable to pass the requirements set by the Employer.
