Dear [Name of the Employer],
As my employer of __ months/years, you must understand how difficult it is to write this letter. However, I feel that I cannot remain silent any longer. The workplace in the [Department] of [Company] has become extremely hostile and I must ask that necessary measures must be done to remedy this situation.
The problem started __ months ago, which was when the first incident happened. The Supervisor, [Name of the Supervisor] called me into the office to tell me that I had made a mistake in a certain file. I politely apologized to him/her, but he/she yelled at me for over _ minutes until I was crying. His/her voice was so loud that all the staff in the department heard him/her and I was so embarrassed.
Hostile events continued to happen over the next __ weeks and Mr./Ms. [Name of the Supervisor] keep yelling at employees and threatening to fire the employees which makes all the employees uncomfortable and I believe it affects our department’s productivity.
I am writing this letter on behalf of the employees of the department because I believe I am the senior employee, but other employees of the department will attest to the behavior of Mr./Ms. [Name of the Supervisor] and we cannot work like this any longer.
We respectfully request that he/she be held accountable for his/her actions. I would appreciate discretion in this matter. However, please do contact me at your earliest convenience at [Contact Number] or [Email Address]. I look forward to hearing your plan for solving this problem.
Thank you so much for understanding.
