[Goshen, CT, 06756]

Dear [Mr. Thomason],

I heard the news that [Brady College's] Assistant Baseball Coach recently stepped down for reasons unknown yet to the public. Afterward, I assumed that [Brady College] is looking for a replacement, which led me to write this letter to inform you ahead that I am interested in taking over. I have a decent baseball background, which gives me the confidence that you'll consider my bid to be [Brady College's] next Assistant Baseball Coach.

Ever since I was a child, the game of baseball has always been my passion. When I was in high school, I was [part of the baseball varsity team] and [competed in four state championships]. Due to my illustrious high school career, I was offered a baseball scholarship in [Greenville State College]. During my college career, I was a significant player and helped my team bring home [three championship trophies] in the NCAA. Shortly after I graduated from college with a degree in [sports administration], I was offered by my high school alma mater's athletics director to become their [Assistant Baseball Coach], which I gladly accepted. Since then, I was steady as an assistant and [trained many high school prospects who later became well-known collegiate players]. Some of them are even playing as rookies and sophomores in the majors now. All in all, I consider my experience and my high-level skills in playing baseball to be worthy attributes for me to transition my coaching career at the collegiate level.

So if you're interested in hiring me, by all means, invite me for a job interview via my email address or phone number. You can expect to receive an immediate response from me at any time. Hopefully, I will be able to capitalize on this opportunity and help [Brady College] win more baseball championships. Thank you for your time.

Respectfully,

[Jeanne R. Hurwitz]
