ORACLE HRMS FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Role and Summary
An Oracle HRMS Functional Consultant is an SME or a subject matter expert when it comes to the Oracle HRMS programs and software. They are responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing projects according to predetermined schedule benchmarks and budgets. They may also build, develop, and manage teams under the supervision of the project supporter, which helps ensure quality control within the creation and maintenance of the project.
A. Duties and Responsibilities
- Initiates and leads client meetings to improve or develop Human Capital Management (HCM) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
- Develops and manages the project’s budgets and scope of work depending on the needs and in cooperation with the systems
- Examines the current business processes and methods to check for any possibility of improvement
- Gathers specific customer system requirements for their custom application design or any custom-made specifications that they might want
- Manages, coaches, and supports the team under the direct supervision of the functional manager

B. Skills
- Must be adequate in both written and verbal interpersonal communication to ensure a proper and working communication line between the management and the team
- Should be a capable leader with proficient technical skills to support the team when Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) or any other application issues arise
