Please consider this letter as a request to work from home.

I am currently taking care of my sick seven-year-old child, so I cannot report to the office personally. I cannot leave my son alone due to his condition, and it’s only me and him living in the house. I will be reporting my work progress every now and then on our company email. I will be ready to work in the office when the condition of my child improves.
