I. THE CONTRRA UNIVERSE

The Story So Far:

The year is 2770. You are about to find out just what it takes to be a commando legend like Scorpion and Mad Dog.

The Game:

This dramatic and obstacle-filled expedition presents the player with 20 extremely difficult levels to overcome. 

II. BEGINNING THE GAME

TITLE SCREEN:

• Start Game
• Password
• Options

OPTION SCREEN:

• Difficulty: A selection of Easy, Normal, Hard, Maniac
• Sound Type: A selection of Mono, Stereo, Bass, or Sound FX without music
• Song Test: Press A button to hear all music selections. Press B to stop.
• Exit: Puts the player back to Start screen

SIDE VIEW LEVELS:

• Control pad: Move left and right to run, move down to duck.
• START button: Pauses the game. Press again to restart.

OVERHEAD LEVELS:

• Control pad: Move in different directions to guide your player.
• START button: Pauses the game. Press again to restart.

ENDING THE GAME:

• Lose all your lives - Game Over
• Selecting “End” will end the game.
