How to Make a Fitness Planner in MS Word
People today, even at a very young age, often find themselves suffering from different ailments. Mostly, physical conditions that are curable. Yet again, these tendencies could lead to severity. Sometimes, it allows diabetes, heart failure, high blood pressure, and emotional ailments to trigger. That is why physical and emotional fitness should be a practice and not just a trend. Even when you think that you are healthy, the importance of wellness should not be taken lightly. You have to track your daily meal, exercise, and overall health progress. In helping you keep a daily log for you or your loved one, below are the steps that will guide you in creating a Fitness Planner in MS Word.
1. Outline Your Plans and Objectives
To start with, identify your goals and objectives of why you are creating a planner. Do you need a weekly workout tracker? Or do you need to log your daily food intake? Knowing this will help you establish how your planner will look like. So, do this by making an outline. Do this in your Microsoft Word software application. This method is easier to copy and paste the details to your planner layout later on. Include your health habits, fitness goals, training progress, workout schedules, and meal plan.
2. Prepare a Planner Template
Get everything handy by choosing the right planner template for your purpose. You can select Fitness Planner Templates from our website. Aside from that, you can make the necessary adjustments, such as the table, font style, colors, and layout. You can open a new document. Find your downloaded template under File. Then select the Template list. Or, you have the option to go to your Download folder from your computer. Click the template. Open it with Microsoft Word.
3. Customize the Layout
Start customizing your layout. This is where you make table adjustments. Be sure to create a checklist. It will be a page where you can jot down your priorities for the week or month. List them accordingly. Then beside each task, insert a checkbox. Add a box from the Insert tab. Leave a page for the fitness calendar. We suggest you use at least two to three font styles. But observe consistency. For example, when using Arial in your Meal Plan header, use the same font style in all the headers.
4. Write Down the Basics
Start writing down the information. Remember, don’t make sentences too long. Most people don’t find interest in opening a planner that is time-consuming to read. In your workout planner, don’t forget to input your priorities, followed by your schedules. Then, the progress tracker comes at the last pages of your planner. This helps you indicate that the first few pages are for relevant records. In editing or writing down the text, click the Insert tab. Then, add a Text box. Drag it to where you want to add the text.
5. Finalize and Update
Ensure that you do the final checking before you use your planner. Does all your plan lead you to your objectives? If it benefits you, then it is time to use your fitness planner. You can keep a copy by printing the template. Or, update it from time to time with a soft copy.
