Open the Google Calendar app on your smartphone or tablet and scroll through the list of dates to find your desired event. On the event page, tap on the arrow icon in the lower right corner of your screen and select the “Propose a New Time” option. Choose your preferred date and time; you can include an optional message.

Step 3: View a Proposed New Time in Your Google Calendar
As an event organizer, open your Google Calendar page and locate the designated event in the calendar field. Select the “Review Proposed Time” button under the sender’s email address, click on Save if you wish to apply the new time, enter optional updates, then click on Send. You can send an email about declining the proposed time to the proposer.
