How to Turn Off Google Calendar Email Notifications

• Step 1: Turn Off Email Notifications for All Google Calendar Events

  

  Open your Google Calendar account on a web browser and click on the gear icon (top right corner) before selecting Settings in the dropdown list. Go into the General tab on the Settings page and scroll down to the Notification Settings. Open the Notifications dropdown list, then select “Off.”

• Step 2: Turn Off Email Notifications for Individual Events in Google Calendar

  

  On your Google Calendar main page, locate and click on the desired event in the calendar field. Select the “Edit Event” option (pencil icon) in the event details box, then click on the X icon next to an email notification. Click on the Save button after turning off your event’s notification settings.

• Step 3: Turn Off Email Notifications for Calendars in your Google Calendar Account

  

  Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of your Google Calendar Account main page, then select Settings in the dropdown list. Click on the desired calendar under “Settings for My Calendars,” scroll down to “Event Notifications” and “All-Day Event Notifications,” then click on the X icon to remove any notifications.
