Overview

Template.net provides instant access to digital templates, downloads, and AI-powered tools. Because digital products can be accessed immediately after purchase, most purchases are non-refundable once used or downloaded.

However, we review refund requests in limited cases such as duplicate charges, verified technical issues, or unauthorized transactions.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds May Be Approved For

  • Duplicate charges for the same purchase
  • Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions (after verification)
  • Technical issues preventing access to paid features
  • Billing errors caused by our system

Refunds Are Not Available For

  • Subscription renewals after the billing date
  • Canceling a subscription mid-billing cycle
  • Downloaded templates or digital files
  • Used AI credits or generated content
  • Accidental purchases after accessing the service
  • Failure to cancel before renewal

2. Digital Product Delivery

All Template.net products are digital and delivered instantly.

Delivery occurs when you:

  • Download a template
  • Access premium content
  • Generate AI content
  • Use AI credits
  • Access your subscription workspace

Because access is immediate, digital products are considered delivered once accessed or downloaded.

3. EU / EEA Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer located in the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), you may have the right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days of the purchase date without providing a reason.

However, under EU consumer protection law, the right of withdrawal does not apply once digital content delivery has begun with the user's consent.

By purchasing a subscription or digital product on Template.net and accessing the service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Delivery of digital content begins immediately after purchase
  • Accessing templates, downloads, AI services, or premium features starts the service
  • Your right of withdrawal may therefore be waived once the service has been accessed, downloads have started, or AI credits have been used

If you are eligible to request withdrawal under EU/EEA law, the request must be submitted within 14 days of the purchase date, provided that the service has not been accessed or used.

4. Subscription Billing & Renewals

Template.net subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually).

You can cancel your subscription anytime in your account settings.
Go to Account Settings > Billing > Cancel Subscription

If a subscription is canceled:

  • Access remains active until the end of the billing cycle
  • No further charges will occur
  • Refunds are not issued for the remaining period

To avoid renewal charges, subscriptions must be canceled before the next billing date.

5. AI Credits & Usage

AI credits are consumed immediately when generating:

  • Documents
  • Designs
  • Images
  • Videos
  • Forms
  • Charts

Once credits are used or content is generated, they cannot be refunded or restored.

For Max plans, AI credits may be shared across team members. Usage by any invited user counts as account usage.

6. Unauthorized Transactions (Fraud)

If you believe your account was charged without authorization, please contact us immediately.

Our team may request verification such as:

  • Account email
  • Payment receipt
  • Last 4 digits of the payment card
  • Description of the issue

Unauthorized transactions will be investigated and eligible refunds will be processed if verified.

7. Duplicate Charges

If you were charged twice for the same purchase, please contact our support team and we will process the appropriate refund after verification.

8. Product Quality Concerns

Template.net provides preview images and descriptions for all templates before download.

Because templates are digital assets delivered instantly, refunds cannot be issued once files are downloaded.

If you experience technical issues opening or editing a template, our support team will assist you.

9. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please email:

Include the following details:

  • Account email
  • Payment receipt or transaction ID
  • Last four digits of your payment method
  • Description of the issue

Our billing team reviews requests within 1–2 business days.

10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you have any billing concerns, we strongly recommend contacting our support team first so we can resolve the issue quickly.

Opening a chargeback without contacting support may result in:

  • Temporary account suspension
  • Loss of unused credits or access
  • Additional dispute processing fees

11. Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed by trusted payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal.

Your payment details are never stored on Template.net servers.

Charges may appear on your statement as Template.net

12. Policy Updates

Template.net may update this policy periodically to reflect service improvements or regulatory requirements.

The latest version will always be available on this page.
