Dear Mr. Kane,
It is with mixed emotions that I write this letter of farewell as your principal. A wonderful opportunity has surfaced, and I find myself needing to exit St. August Elementary for a new job. I will soon be starting in the role of Dean at City College.
Under my reign, we've shared numerous accomplishments and have faced some challenges. Yet, together, we have a stronger and much better school. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincerest thank you to you and the staff of St. August Elementary for your relentless hard work and resilience. I am confident that under your guidance and commitment, the school will continue to flourish. My best regards go to the amazing team here, and I wish you good luck in all your future undertakings.
