Job Title: Adoption Social Worker

Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct in-depth home assessments of potential adoptive families evaluating their suitability for adoption.

Review criminal background checks, references, and medical evaluations to assure safety and welfare of the children.
Provide counseling and emotional support to birth parents contemplating adoption.

Facilitate interactions and communication between birth parents and adoptive families when appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
Valid Social Worker license.
Experience in adoption services or child welfare.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information.
