Freelance Social Media Contract

This Freelance Social Media Contract ("Contract") is made and entered into as of [Date], by and between [Client Name], with its principal place of business located at [Client Address] ("Client"), and [Freelancer Name], a freelance social media professional operating under the business name [Business Name], if applicable, with a principal place of operation located at [Freelancer Address] ("Service Provider").

1. Scope of Services

The Service Provider agrees to perform social media management services for the Client, which may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Development and implementation of a social media strategy
Content creation and curation
Posting and scheduling of content
Engagement with followers
Analytics and Reporting
Paid social media advertising campaigns (if applicable and agreed upon)

Services will primarily focus on the following social media platforms: [List Platforms, e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn].

2. Term of Agreement

This Agreement shall commence on [Start Date] and shall continue in full force and effect until [End Date] or until terminated by either party with [Number of Days] days' written notice.

3. Compensation

4. Confidentiality

The obligations of confidentiality shall apply during the term of this Agreement and will survive indefinitely upon termination of this Agreement.

5. Intellectual Property

All work products developed by the Service Provider under this Agreement, including but not limited to graphics, text, and multimedia works, shall be the exclusive property of the Client upon payment for the completed work. The Service Provider is granted a non-exclusive license to use this work for the purpose of portfolio display and demonstration only with the Client's prior consent.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement upon giving [Number of Days] days' written notice to the other party. Upon termination, the Client shall pay the Service Provider for all services rendered up to the termination date.

7. Independent Contractor Status

The Service Provider is engaged as an independent contractor. Neither party is an agent, representative, partner, or employee of the other party.
