Wedding DJ Contract

This agreement takes effect upon signing, entered into mutually by the parties referenced as [Wedding Coordinator Name] - who shall, henceforth in this agreement be referred to as the "Client", and [DJ Name] - who will also from this point onward be referenced as the "DJ". The main purpose is for the DJ to provide entertainment services at the specified wedding event as described in detail later in this contractual document.

2. Services Provided

The DJ agrees to provide professional DJ services, including but not limited to:

• Music selection and playback

• Sound system setup and operation

• Custom playlists or special song requests as agreed upon

• Other services as mutually agreed upon

3. Payment Terms

The total fee for DJ services is [Total Amount], payable as follows:

• A non-refundable deposit of [Deposit Amount] is due upon signing this contract to secure the DJ's services for the specified date.

• The remaining balance of [Balance Amount] is due no later than [Due Date], [Date] before the event date.

• Payment can be made via [Payment Methods Accepted by DJ].

4. Cancellation Policy

• In the event of cancellation by the Client, the deposit paid to the DJ is non-refundable.

• Cancellation by the Client within [Number of Days] days of the event will result in payment of the full contracted amount.

• The DJ reserves the right to cancel this agreement for any reason. In such cases, any payments made by the Client will be fully refunded.

5. Event Coordination

• The Client agrees to provide the DJ with a detailed timeline of the event, including key moments such as entrances, speeches, and special dances, no later than [Date].

• The disc jockey (DJ) is set to work in collaboration with either the client who has hired the DJ services or the individual designated as the coordinator of the event. This collaboration will ensure that there is a smooth execution of the entertainment services that have been planned for the event, to avoid any hiccups that might interfere with the overall success of the occasion.

6. Equipment and Setup

• The Disk Jockey, who will be in charge of managing the music, will be bringing and providing all of the needed sound equipment for the event. The equipment to be supplied includes, but is not limited to, speakers that will project the music and sound, microphones that the MC, performers, or guests might need to use, and all components that make up the DJ booth setup.

• The Client agrees and willingly commits to ensuring that there is satisfactory and ample space provided for the DJ's equipment setup. Additionally, the Client will also ensure the availability of sufficient power outlets which are necessary for the operation of the DJ's equipment.

• If the Client requests any additional equipment, it should be noted that this may lead to the occurrence of extra charges. Such charges will be based on the mutual agreement between both the Client and the Service Provider.

7. Liability

• If any injuries or damages happen during the event, the DJ will not be held accountable or required to pay for them unless they are the direct result of the DJ's negligent actions.

• The Client hereby consents to indemnify, or compensate for any harm or damage, the Disc Jockey (DJ), and also agrees to absolve, protect, or free, the Disc Jockey from any claims, accusations, damages or impairments, responsibilities and liabilities that might occur, arise or result from the event, celebration or gathering.

8. Miscellaneous:

• This contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

• Any modifications to this contract must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
