I am writing to bring to your attention several concerns regarding the condition of my rental unit at 789 Birch Lane. I have been experiencing persistent issues that have significantly impacted my comfort and safety, and I kindly request your prompt assistance in addressing them.
Firstly, the plumbing in the bathroom has been problematic for the past month. The sink has developed a severe drainage issue, causing it to empty very slowly. Additionally, there is an unpleasant odor of mildew emanating from the drain. Despite using commercial drain cleaners and a plunger, the problem remains unresolved. I believe a professional plumber may be needed to properly address and fix this issue.
Secondly, the heating system in the apartment is not functioning efficiently. With winter approaching, inconsistent heating is becoming a significant concern. Some rooms, particularly the bedrooms, are excessively cold, while others, such as the living room, are uncomfortably warm. This inconsistency has made it difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the apartment. I would appreciate it if a technician could be dispatched to inspect and repair the heating system.
Furthermore, the front door lock has been unreliable. Over the past few weeks, it has become increasingly difficult to lock and unlock the door. It often requires excessive force and, at times, does not lock properly. Given the importance of security, I request that this issue be resolved as soon as possible to ensure the safety of the apartment.
