Principal Letter to Parents about School Events

October 14, 2050

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope this message finds you well as we continue an exciting school year at Sunnyvale Elementary! We have several upcoming events planned for our students and community, and I’m thrilled to share the details with you. These events provide great opportunities for students to engage, have fun, and showcase their talents. Your support and participation make these moments even more special, and we would love to see you involved.

Upcoming School Events:

1. Fall Festival – October 30, 2050, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Our annual Fall Festival is just around the corner! On October 30th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, we’ll have carnival games, food trucks, a pumpkin decorating contest, and more. Students and families are invited to come dressed in costume for our costume parade. We are looking for parent volunteers to help with various activities during the event. If you’re available, please reach out to our event coordinator, Mrs. Davis, at davis@elementary.edu.

2. Parent-Teacher Conferences – November 10-11, 2050
Our Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for November 10th and 11th. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss academic progress, classroom behavior, and goals for the remainder of the year. Please visit our online portal at www.elementary.edu/conferences to sign up for a time that works best for your schedule.

3. School Talent Show – November 20, 2050, 6:00 PM
On November 20th, we’ll be hosting our annual School Talent Show at 6:00 PM in the school auditorium. Our students have been rehearsing their performances and can’t wait to show off their amazing talents! Tickets will go on sale on November 1st through the school office. All proceeds will benefit the school’s arts programs.

4. Winter Holiday Concert – December 15, 2050, 7:00 PM
Mark your calendars for our Winter Holiday Concert on December 15th at 7:00 PM. Our choir, band, and orchestra students have been preparing a fantastic lineup of holiday songs that will surely get everyone in the festive spirit. The concert will take place in the school gymnasium, and we invite all families to join us in celebrating the season.

How You Can Get Involved:

We are always grateful for parent volunteers at these events. Whether it’s helping with event setup, managing booths, or assisting in other ways, your involvement is incredibly valuable. If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Mr. James, at james@elementary.edu or call (555) 123-4567.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. We look forward to seeing you at these upcoming events and working together to make this a memorable year for all our students.
