1. Purpose of the Agreement

The purpose of this Agreement is to define the terms and conditions under which the apprentice, Jane Doe, will receive structured on-the-job training and technical instruction to achieve certification in the trade of Electrical Engineering Technician.

2. Terms of Apprenticeship

1. Trade: Electrical Engineering Technician

2. Level of Training: Year 1

4. Expected Completion Date: December 31, 2053

5. Hours of Training:

   • On-the-job training: 6,000 hours over four years

   • Classroom instruction: 800 hours

3. Responsibilities

Employer Responsibilities:

• Provide Jane Doe with supervised, meaningful work experience in Electrical Engineering.

• Ensure all workplace safety standards are met.

• Release Jane Doe for technical training at BC Tech College as required.

Apprentice Responsibilities:

• Attend all scheduled training sessions and maintain a professional attitude at work.

• Record hours worked and skills acquired using the online apprenticeship portal.

• Adhere to all workplace safety and operational guidelines.

Oversight Body Responsibilities:

• Monitor progress and ensure compliance with provincial apprenticeship standards.

• Issue the Certificate of Qualification upon successful program completion.

4. Compensation and Benefits

The apprentice will be compensated as follows:

Hourly Rate:

• Year 1: $25/hour

• Year 2: $30/hour

• Year 3: $35/hour

• Year 4: $40/hour

Benefits:

• Health and dental coverage

• 10 days of paid vacation per year

5. Termination

This agreement may be terminated:

• By mutual consent of Jane Doe and [Your Company Name]

• If Jane Doe or the employer fails to meet the obligations outlined in this agreement.

• Due to unforeseen circumstances or non-compliance with the oversight body’s standards.
