Apprenticeship Agreement for Skilled Workers

Program Details:
Position and Training
The Employer agrees to employ the Apprentice in the position of Junior Software Engineer and provide the necessary training to develop skills and knowledge in software development and programming. The training will include both on-the-job training and off-the-job education as outlined in the attached Training Plan.
Duration of the Apprenticeship
The apprenticeship will commence on February 1, 2050, and will continue for a period of 2 years, ending on January 31, 2052, unless terminated earlier according to the terms of this Agreement.
Training Schedule
The Apprentice will work 40 hours per week, participating in both hands-on development tasks at TechBuild Solutions and formal training sessions, including programming workshops, coding boot camps, and mentorship sessions. The Apprentice will be required to complete assessments at regular intervals as outlined in the Training Plan.
Compensation
The Apprentice will receive a salary of $2,000 per month, payable on the 1st of each month. The salary may be adjusted annually based on performance and company policy. If the Apprentice completes the apprenticeship, they may be eligible for a permanent position with TechBuild Solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Apprentice agrees to:
Follow all company rules, regulations, and policies.
Attend and participate in all required training sessions, including those outside regular working hours.
Complete coding projects, assignments, and exercises as assigned.
Maintain a high standard of work performance, professionalism, and conduct.
Regularly meet with their supervisor to discuss progress and areas of improvement.
Employer’s Responsibilities
The Employer agrees to:
Provide mentorship and guidance to the Apprentice, ensuring that the required skills are taught effectively.
Assign a qualified supervisor or mentor to monitor the Apprentice’s development.
Ensure that the Apprentice is provided with a safe and supportive working environment.
Offer formal performance reviews at the end of each quarter to track the Apprentice’s progress.
Completion of the Apprenticeship
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the Apprentice may be offered a full-time position as a Software Engineer with TechBuild Solutions, based on performance and company requirements. A certificate of apprenticeship completion will be awarded, detailing the skills acquired during the program.
Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement with 30 days' notice in writing. The Employer may terminate the Agreement immediately if the Apprentice fails to meet the requirements of the apprenticeship, violates company policies, or does not perform at an acceptable level. If the Apprentice decides to leave the apprenticeship before completion, they are required to provide a written notice of resignation with 30 days’ notice.
Confidentiality and Non-Compete
The Apprentice agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding any proprietary information acquired during the apprenticeship. The Apprentice further agrees not to engage in any competing business within a 50-mile radius of TechBuild Solutions for 6 months following the completion of the apprenticeship.
Miscellaneous
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Employer and the Apprentice and supersedes any prior agreements, discussions, or negotiations.
Any amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of TechState.
