Room Tenancy Agreement

This Room Tenancy Agreement (the "Agreement") is made and entered into as of this 9th day of January 2050 (the "Effective Date") by and between the following parties:

Tenant: Sigmund Corwin, whose address is 1234 Elm Street, Seattle, WA 98101, and contact email is sigmund@you.mail.

Both parties agree to the terms outlined below:

I. Premises

The Landlord agrees to lease to the Tenant the following described room (the "Premises"):

  • The Premises are located at [Your Company Address].

  • The room designated for occupancy by the Tenant is Room Number: 301.

II. Term of Lease

The term of this Agreement shall begin on January 15, 2050, and continue until January 15, 2051, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.

III. Rent Payment

  1. Amount of Rent: Tenant agrees to pay the Landlord a monthly rent of $1,200 for the Premises.

IV. Security Deposit

V. Use of Premises

  1. The Tenant agrees to use the Premises solely for residential purposes and will not engage in any unlawful activities.

  2. The Tenant is responsible for keeping the Premises clean and well-maintained during the lease term.

  3. The Tenant shall not sublet the Premises or assign this Agreement without the prior written consent of the Landlord.

VI. Maintenance and Repairs

  1. Landlord’s Responsibility: The Landlord shall ensure that the Premises are in good repair at the start of the tenancy. The Landlord is responsible for repairing any major structural issues or systems (e.g., plumbing, electrical).

  2. Tenant’s Responsibility: The Tenant shall promptly report any damages or repairs needed in the Premises to the Landlord. The Tenant shall not make alterations or repairs to the Premises without the written consent of the Landlord.

VII. Utilities

The Tenant is responsible for payment of the following utilities:

  1. Electricity

  2. Water

  3. Internet and Telephone

The Landlord shall cover the cost of the following utilities:

  1. Gas

  2. Trash Collection

VIII. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington.

IX. Termination

  1. Notice of Termination: Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing at least 30 days' written notice to the other party.

  2. Early Termination: In the event of early termination, the Tenant may be required to pay a penalty as specified in the Agreement.
