Free Relocation Assistance Agreement HR

This Relocation Assistance Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into on [Month Day, Year] (the "Effective Date"), by and between [Company Name], a corporation with its principal place of business at [Company Address] (the "Company"), and [Second Party] an individual residing at [Second Party Address] (the "Employee").

WHEREAS, the Company has determined that it is necessary for the Employee to relocate to a new location to fulfill their job responsibilities;

WHEREAS, the Company wishes to provide the Employee with relocation assistance to facilitate the move; and

WHEREAS, the Employee agrees to relocate in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth herein.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and mutual covenants contained herein, the parties hereby agree as follows:

Relocation Assistance

1. Relocation Expenses: The Company agrees to provide the Employee with financial assistance for reasonable and documented relocation expenses, including but not limited to transportation, temporary housing, packing and shipping of household goods, and other related costs. The maximum total amount for relocation assistance shall not exceed $5,000.00.

2. Expense Documentation: The Employee agrees to provide the Company with all necessary documentation, including receipts and invoices, to support the relocation expenses claimed by the Employee. Such documentation must be submitted to the Company within 90 days after incurring each expense.

Repayment

Repayment Obligation: If the Employee voluntarily resigns or is terminated for cause within 3 months following the relocation, the Employee shall be obligated to repay the Company the entire amount of relocation assistance received.

Moving Schedule

Moving Date: The Employee's relocation must be completed by [Month Day, Year], unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties.

Miscellaneous

1. Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
   

2. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
   

3. Amendment: This Agreement may only be amended in writing and signed by both parties.

Execution

This Agreement may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, but all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument. This Agreement may be executed electronically and in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, and all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument.
