Re: Eviction Due to Property Damage
Dear Adelia Harber,
I am writing to formally notify you of the eviction of your tenancy at 987 Velvet Lane, Newark, NJ 07101, due to significant property damage caused during your occupancy. As stated in the lease agreement dated February 1, 2050, tenants are responsible for maintaining the property in good condition. Unfortunately, the damage incurred has violated the terms of our agreement, and as a result, we must proceed with eviction.
The damage in question includes, but is not limited to:
-
Severe water damage to the kitchen ceiling due to neglect of plumbing issues.
-
Multiple holes in the living room walls.
-
Broken windows in the bedrooms, which were not reported and remain unrepaired.
-
Destruction of hardwood flooring in the dining area from unknown causes.
Despite previous requests to address these issues, the necessary repairs have not been made, and the damages remain unresolved. As per the terms of the lease and local property laws, this letter serves as formal notice that you are required to vacate the premises within 30 days from the date of this notice.
Please ensure that all personal belongings are removed from the property by January 20, 2051, and return the keys to me at the above address on or before that date. Failure to comply with this request will result in further legal action, including but not limited to court proceedings to recover possession of the property.
If you have any questions regarding this notice or wish to discuss the matter further, please contact me directly at 222 555 7777 or [Your Email].
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
