Dear Emma,

I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share something exciting I've been getting into lately—I've taken up painting as a new hobby. It's something I've always wanted to try, but I never really made the time for it until now.

I started with some basic watercolor techniques, and I’m loving how relaxing it is. The first few attempts were a mess, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I’ve been painting landscapes, mostly nature scenes, and it’s so calming to just get lost in the colors and brushstrokes. I’ve also joined an online art group where people share tips and encourage each other, which has been a lot of fun. I feel like I've finally found a creative outlet that allows me to unwind after a busy week.

By the way, the other day I painted a small sunset over a lake, and I was so proud of how it turned out! I’d love for you to see it when we next meet.

Do you have any hobbies that you’ve picked up recently? I know you’ve been busy with work, but it would be fun to hear what you’ve been up to in your spare time. It would be great if we could paint together one day or maybe even just chat about our hobbies over a coffee.
