Sports Club Membership Agreement
I. Agreement Overview
This Sports Club Membership Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into as of December 13, 2050, by and between [Your Company Name], a sports club organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota, with its principal place of business at [Your Company Address], represented by [Your Name], hereinafter referred to as "the Club," and Elvie Block, a member residing at Minneapolis, MN 55401, hereinafter referred to as "the Member."
The parties wish to establish the terms and conditions under which the Member will participate in the activities of the Club, and the Member agrees to comply with the rules and regulations as set forth in this Agreement.
II. Membership Terms and Conditions
1. Duration of Membership
The membership is effective from December 13, 2050, and shall remain in effect until terminated in accordance with the terms specified herein. Membership is renewable annually, subject to the Member’s continued compliance with the Club’s rules and payment of fees.
2. Termination
Either party may terminate the membership by providing 30 days’ written notice to the other party. In the event of termination by the Member, any outstanding fees must be settled prior to the termination date.
III. Membership Benefits and Rights
1. Access to Club Facilities
The Member is entitled to full access to the Club’s facilities, including but not limited to the gym, swimming pool, courts, and any other amenities offered by the Club. The Member shall have the right to participate in all sports activities, events, and programs offered by the Club.
2. Member's Rights
The Member will have the right to:
Vote in Club elections, if applicable.
Participate in Club meetings and events.
Access all member-exclusive content or information shared by the Club.
Enjoy discounts or special offers on products and services available within the Club.
IV. Membership Fees and Payments
1. Membership Fee
The Member agrees to pay an annual membership fee of $500 upon signing this Agreement, which is non-refundable. The fee may be subject to change on an annual basis, with prior notice provided to the Member.
2. Payment Schedule
The membership fee is payable in full at the time of joining or may be paid in two installments, with the first payment due upon signing, and the second payment due 6 months thereafter. The Member agrees to remit all payments by the specified due dates.
V. Responsibilities of the Member
1. Compliance with Club Rules
The Member agrees to comply with all rules, regulations, and policies established by the Club, including those governing conduct, safety, and usage of Club facilities. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in termination of membership.
2. Health and Safety
The Member affirms that they are physically fit to participate in the activities offered by the Club. The Member agrees to immediately notify the Club of any medical conditions that may impact their participation in Club activities.
VI. Liability and Insurance
1. Assumption of Risk
The Member acknowledges that participation in sports activities and the use of Club facilities carries inherent risks, and agrees to assume all such risks, including personal injury or property damage, whether occurring on or off the Club premises.
2. Insurance
The Member is advised to maintain personal health insurance coverage to cover any injuries sustained while participating in Club activities. The Club does not provide personal injury insurance for Members.
VII. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal actions or disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Minnesota.
VIII. Dispute Resolution
1. Mediation
In the event of a dispute between the Club and the Member, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through informal negotiation or mediation before pursuing any formal legal action.
2. Arbitration
If a resolution cannot be reached through mediation, the dispute shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties.
IX. Termination of Membership
1. Termination by the Member
The Member may terminate this Agreement at any time by providing 30 days' written notice to [Your Name] at [Your Email]. The Member agrees to pay all dues and fees up to the termination date.
2. Termination by the Club
