Dear Mr. Kneeshaw,
We are writing to inform you about our son, Jackson's, extended absence from his 4th grade class. Unfortunately, Jackson has been diagnosed with chickenpox. The doctor has recommended a period of quarantine lasting about two weeks, as the infection is highly contagious. In light of this, Jackson will not be able to attend school from January 4 to January 18.
We understand that Jackson will miss important classwork during this time. So, we would be grateful if you could provide us with information on the topics they will be covering during these two weeks. We aim to keep Jackson engaged at home and ensure he does not fall behind in his learning.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter and apologize for any inconvenience caused. We maintain our commitment to Jackson's learning and look forward to his quick recovery and return to school.
Sincerely,
Pamela Dawson
