Dear Ms. Hernandez
I hope this letter finds you well.
I am writing to kindly inform you about my decision to terminate our rental agreement due to unforeseen circumstances prematurely. I understand that under normal circumstances, I am expected to fulfill the term of the lease, however the current situation necessitates this action.
I have not taken this decision lightly and have explored all other possible avenues before coming to this conclusion. I am mindful of the inconvenience this may cause you, and I sincerely apologize.
I am prepared to help find a replacement tenant and cover the cost of re-advertisement. As our agreement requires, I will forfeit the security deposit to cover the rental charges until a new tenant can be found.
I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a written acknowledgment of this letter at your earliest convenience.
