Subject: Section 75 Claim for Refund

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to make a claim under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 for a refund on a recent purchase made using my credit card.

Details of Purchase:

  • Date of Purchase: 1 September 2055

  • Merchant: IntelShop

  • Amount Paid: $350.00

  • Description of Goods/Services: 55-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV

Issue Description:

The television purchased was found to be defective upon delivery. Specifically, the screen had noticeable dead pixels and the remote control was not functioning. I contacted IntelShop immediately on 3 September 2055, and they agreed to arrange a replacement. However, despite multiple follow-ups, no replacement or refund has been provided, and the merchant has since gone out of business.

I am requesting a full refund of $350.00, which was charged to my credit card account. Please find attached copies of the receipt, the correspondence with IntelShop, and a screenshot of the company's website showing they are no longer operational.

I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response within 14 days. Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your assistance.

Yours faithfully,
