Engine and Mechanical Components

Inspect and measure the engine's oil pressure.

Examine the coolant level and condition.

Ensure that the belt conditions are optimal.

Check components for leaks.

Ensure that the brake fluid level is correct.

Inspect the condition and security of the exhaust system.

Check for excessive engine exhaust smoke.

Ensure that the fuel storage and delivery systems are properly secured.

 Electrical Systems

Verify the functionality of the battery and alternator.

Inspect the condition of the spark plugs and high-tension leads.

Check the operation of the windshield wipers and washers.

Ensure that all the dashboard warning lights are functioning properly.

Verify the condition and operation of all electrical wiring.

Check the operation of the electric windows and sunroof.

Assess the condition and function of the car’s heating and air conditioning systems.

Verify the car’s starter motor functionality.

 Lights and Signals

Check all exterior and interior lights for correct operation.

Inspect the condition of all light lenses.

Ensure that the turn signal and brake lights are functioning correctly.

Verify the operation of the hazard lights and fog lights.

Check the headlights for correct aim and operation.

Emergency Equipment

Inspect the fire extinguisher for correct pressure and good condition.

Ensure the first aid kit is fully stocked and items are on a date.

Check that the warning triangle is present and in good condition.

Verify the condition and presence of safety vests.

Inspect the functionality of the vehicle jack and lug wrench.
