Free Full Protection Equipment Inspection Checklist

Instructions: Please go over the checklist before commencing any operation. It is recommended to ensure the maintenance and inspection of every equipment.

Below is the list of equipment that is subjected to this checklist:

• Hydraulic equipment – these are machines that use fluid power to do work.

• Forklifts - used for lifting and transporting goods over short distances.

• Power generators - designed to provide temporary power supply.

• Compressors - used in many applications for air pressure supply.

• Cranes – these are machines that is used for lifting and moving heavy objects.

Hydraulic Equipment

• Check for leakages

• Inspect connections for firmness

• Ensure the filter is clean and intact

• Check oil level

• Ensure cylinder rods are smooth and non-corrosive

Forklifts

• Ensure tires are in good condition

• Check for damaged or missing parts

• Inspect load backrest extension

• Ensure fork is not bent or worn

• Validate brakes are functional

Power Generators

• Verify fuel level

• Check for oil leaks

• Ensure fan belt has proper tension

• Validate that exhaust is clear and safe

• Inspect for signs of overheating

Compressors

• Check cooling and compressor oil levels

• Ensure safety valves are working properly

• Validate that air filters are clean

• Inspect for any signs of vibration

• Check all connections for leaks

Cranes

• Check the integrity of the steel wire rope

• Inspect the condition of hooks and latches

• Ensure brakes are operational

• Validate fluid levels are acceptable

• Inspect outriggers for leaks and cracks
