Free Hotel Room Inspection Checklist

Purpose

Housekeeping and Cleanliness

• Verify room surfaces are dust-free

• Ensure all trash bins are empty and cleaned

• Check for clean and well-presented bed linens

• Ensure the bathroom, including the toilet and shower, are sanitized

• Confirm windows and mirrors are spotless

Maintenance and Repairs

• Inspect for any leaks or water damage

• Ensure all electrical outlets are functioning

• Check that lights and lamps are operational

• Examine the HVAC system for proper function

• Inspect furniture for stability and damage

Safety and Security

• Ensure the door locks smoothly

• Verify the presence and functionality of the smoke detector

• Confirm windows lock securely

• Check the emergency evacuation plan is visible

• Inspect for any loose wires or exposed electrical components
