How to Write a Construction Scope of Work in Apple Pages
1. Establish the Project Overview and Objectives
Introduce the construction project you will be building by laying out its specifics. First off, explain why this project is being done. What brought this project in the first place? Disclose this detail/s along with the other background and description of the project.
2. Make a Task List
Secure a list of the actions that need to be carried out to accomplish the project objectives. Breakdown larger tasks into smaller ones so everyone involved in the project will move the same direction at the same time. Group the tasks into phases and/or milestones and determine each’s time route.
3. Project Deliverables
Make a checklist of the outcomes that are expected after the completion of this construction project. What were the project objectives to begin with and the expected conclusions of the list of tasks you’ve written earlier? This will help determine if they were all realized in the end.
4. Create the Project Schedule
Outline when and by whom the work is going to be done. Set the time length of the project in its entirety and its phases down to the tasks under it. Place the date this construction project is expected and requested by the client to be done. Fit the schedules of this project’s tasks according to it. It is important to know the due date because the project schedule also determines the cost of the project.
Assign people to head the execution of every task, so there will be a share of responsibility.
5. Apportion Success Criteria and Sign-off
Detail the terms and conditions of this project. Include the payment terms and schedules. Then organize a space for the collection of signatures from both parties that will signify that both agree to everything that is documented in this scope of work.
