How to Make a Medical Fitness Certificate in Apple Pages
Whether it’s for a student field trip or job recruitment, there are many different reasons for confirming someone’s medical and physical condition. And, when putting these confirmations into written form, creating certificates is necessary. Certificates are important for this purpose since they’re official documents that contain authorized information (as explained by Merriam-Webster, a resource for various subjects).
Creating a normal-looking certificate is easy enough. But, if you’d like to add a bit more presentation using Apple Pages, then go ahead and read our tips found just below!
1. Prepare Your Medical Fitness Certificate’s Layout
First things first—set up your document’s format. After opening up a new blank file in Apple Pages, go into the Document sidebar menu (to the right) and turn off Document Body. This allows you to add and adjust objects freely within the page.
Next, go to File > Page Setup and use the Page Size menu to set the fitness certificate’s appropriate size, which is usually either 8.5”x11” or 11”x14”.
2. Add a Border to Your Medical Fitness Certificate
The border design is a universal element in designing certificates. To add your border, click Media in the upper toolbar and then select Photos. From there, drag-drop the design from the folder and onto the page.
With the border selected, go to Arrange and then set the Text Wrap to None. Then, for Object Placement, select Stay on Page.
Resizing your border is simple enough by click-dragging the handles on its sides and corners. For repositioning, click-drag the border itself.
3. Use Other Visual Elements for the Medical Fitness Certificate
Images and other graphics also help with your document’s overall look. Ensure that your imagery is thematically suitable for your medical certificate—use depictions of hospitals, medical equipment, facilities, and so on. Insert these elements the same way you do for your border.
Set each image’s Text Wrap and Object Placement the same way as with the border. And the same goes for resizing and repositioning.
4. Create Your Medical Fitness Certificate’s Written Content
Once it’s time for your certificate’s writing (title, doctor’s name, etc.), you need to use some textboxes. Click the Text button in the above toolbar and click-drag across the desired spot. The box’s size and shape are adjusted the same way as with your image objects.
Now that you’ve read through our tips, putting together your own printable certificate should be a snap from now on! And lastly, if you need editable resources for your work, then remember to check out our original Medical Fitness Certificate Templates!
