How To Make A Party Planner In Apple Pages
Everyone can throw a party. But not everyone can throw a terrific party. Parties take time to prepare, so you need to plan ahead of time. With so many things to prepare, starting from food and beverages to coming up with your guest list, keeping everything organized is a must. This is where a party planner comes in. With a planner, you'll have a reminder of all the agendas you need to do. It serves as your organizer and keeps you on track with your schedule.
If you're on Mac, iPad, or iPhone, or PC, here is how you can create a party planner using Apple Pages:
1. List your Tasks
Think about all the things you need to purchase and do to achieve a fun-filled and memorable party. Talk to your family and friends for recommendations. You must list down everything, starting from the food menu, drinks, decorations, up to your guest list.
2. Decide on a Layout
Open Apple Pages and create a new document. You have two layout options for planners: vertical or horizontal. What your sections would look like depends on the layout option you've chosen. There should be seven sections for every page since there are seven days in a week. Provide an ample amount of space for every section so you'll not run out of space to write on.
3. Add and Categorize
Categorize all your to-do lists with clear address labels. Using your list as your guide, start categorizing the tasks. This means you should have a page for every category. For instance, if your first page is your calendar, the second page is where you do your budget, and the third page is where you breakdown your food and drinks menu, and so on. Make sure that your labels above are clear and easy to understand.
4. Leave a Few Extra Pages
You could be surprised by how much information do you need to list down for the party. You don't want to run out of spaces in your planner, so leave a few extra pages for your notes and any random information. If you even look at planners sold in the market, you'll notice that there are a few extra pages in the last part, and they are always left blank. Make sure you have enough additional pages.
5. Start Decorating
Decorations are a must on planners because these can keep you motivated. Who doesn't want to take down notes if your planner looks very cute and stylish? Don't be afraid to play with different colors and incorporate fun-looking fonts. Add stickers to make it look more attractive and exciting. Take inspiration from bullet journals online. Your cover page alone should be aesthetically pleasing to look at. Add inspirational and motivational sayings and quotes. There is no limit to what you can do with your planner. It's yours, so decorate it however you want. Just make sure you don't overdo it, and your text are readable.
